Shore Drive is an indie/alternative rock band located in NYC. Shore Drive was formed in Brewster, NY by frontman Anthony Terlizzi. As the only member, Anthony wrote and produced the debut album, “Color Blind.” “Color Blind” represented a mix of alternative rock riffs, melancholic acoustic tones, and graphic lyrical imagery. Anthony later recruited long time friend Rick Emery on guitar and Frank Vitolo on drums. Alex Better eventually came the full-time bassist.
As a full band, Shore Drive’s sound has perpetually evolved, but they still stick to their roots. They have played throughout venues in New York City’s Lower East Side – most notably The Bitter End, Arlene’s Grocery, and Niagara. They released the “1995” single in July, 2017 which also contains the track “Still The Same.” The single “Lazy” was released on 1/18/19. Shore Drive released an EP “Fluorescent” on 3/15/19. A new single, “Chaser” featuring Brooklyn virtuoso Stella in the Clouds, was released on 8/30/19.
In 2021, Shore Drive returned with a new single “Misty Mountains” which was released on 8/20/21. Rick Emery and Alex Better departed the band during the pandemic but a new lineup emerged including Marc Viola on bass and Jeremy Goun on guitar.
